Eligibility Criteria for admission to First Year Post Graduate Degree (M.E.) Courses in Engineering

1. Candidate should be an Indian National and who possess Bachelors Degree or equivalent in the relevant field of Engineering / Technology from an AICTE / MHRD approved institution, with at least 50 % Aggregate marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) OR appeared for the final year examination of Bachelors Degree or equivalent in the relevant field of Engineering / Technology.
2. Having valid GATE Score in respective qualifying branch

   Appeared and secured non-zero marks in the PGET-CET 2013 in respective qualifying branch. Please refer website www.dte.org.in/me2013)

PIIT offers following six Master Degree of Engineering courses :

Affiliated to the Mumbai University, 2 Semesters each academic year

Submission of Certificates

All the candidates belonging to reserved category should submit their Caste Certificate, Caste Validity Certificate and Non Creamy layer Certificate as applicable and all Type A students should submit Domicile Certificate / Birth Certificate / School Leaving Certificate with place of birth in Maharashtra to the institute at the time of admission to B.E. and M.E. courses as per directives issued from joint Director of Technical Education, Regional Office, Mumbai vide letter dt. 14/5/2013 in pursuant to Government Resolution no. Sankirn -2011/prakra.325/Tanshi-4 dt. 25/6/2012 and Directorate of Technical Education circular 2A/ATM/2013/Pramanapatru/143 dt. 13/5/2013.
